There are few things that are more frustrating than a fastener that is just a hair too short. Especially when you haven't a longer replacement handy. A stud extender is the perfect solution to this problem.
Designed originally to extend the length of a throttle control cable on a boat, this stud extender can be used in a wide variety of applications. Manufactured to add 4 inches to a #10-32 fastener, it can easily be cut to any desired length. Fabricated from grade 5 (6Al-4V) titanium, this part will remain corrosion free in the natural environment perpetually. Rust and corrosion that would eventually destroy a similar stainless steel part will have no effect on a titanium part.
With a yield strength of 128,000 PSI while weighing nearly half as much, this stud extender is strong, light and will remain corrosion free indefinitely. |
