Allied Titanim dowel pins are currently in use in robots, drones and precision mechanical devices all over the planet and in outerspace. These dowel pins are fabricated from grade 5 (6Al-4V) titanium and are corrsion free, even in saltwater. Grade 5 titanium has a yield strength of 180,000 psi (880 Mpa) and an ultimate tensile strength of 138,000 psi (950 MPa).
These dowel pins are TRUE TITANIUM(TM), specifically Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V) and
meet Full DFAR requirements. These pins come with full mechanical and Chemical
Certification as well as a Certificate of Conformance (CoC) to verify that they meet the
specifications on the Unique Part Descriptor (UPD) Sheet.
